This morning--or late afternoon--I went out for breakfast to a place I like to go for some weird reason; despite the fact that the food is kind of gross and the atmosphere is similar to that of a nursing home. Anyway, on the table in a bowl was a product that resembled jam/jelly called "Flavored Fruit". It was a tiny picture of happy fruit. Upon closer inspection of the label, I noticed it was not derived from any type of fruit. What was in there, you may wonder. Well, corn syrup; corn syrup, concentrated fruit juice flavoring and coloring. We talked about this briefly last Wednesday. It’s always on my mind.
Yes, corn syrup seems to be in everything. It's a major conspiracy. Corn production+ U.S. agriculture holding hands with big sugar and the dairy agencies +the erroneous food pyramid=the American public transformed into a herd of ignorant sugar fueled bovine getting fat fat fat.
I could go on and on. I don't eat meat or consume animal product. I never drink dairy and I'm edging out the cheese all together because there's something amiss with our food today and it makes me sick and worries me. Let's not even get into the pus, blood and antibiotic laced milk we're pumping into ourselves and the kids.
Now things like the jelly and a large proportion/ majority of other non-suspect food products are being infused with corn syrup and all sorts of other weird shit. So you have to be extra careful unless you want to turn into some kind of deranged cockroach cow...
This is a major problem; a problem that conveniently remains off the mainstream radar. Lies lies lies and untruths
So, why don’t we go to the popular mass subscribed site, WebMD to self diagnose-- and let’s see if they mention anything about the corn syrup or any suggested ill effects that could possibly indicate a strange correlation between the amount of corn syrup consumed by our country’s populace and the diabetes epidemic, unparalleled obesity and other mysterious disease processes…Or how about revealing the realities of the dairy farm and the mythical necessity behind milk consumption, and what’s actually in that milk, or how eating meat is really archaic and uncivilized or anything near this subject that isn’t a paid endorsed advertisement .
Why doesn't this site focus on common sense issues instead of flippantly and superficially discussing serious and complicated matters that require far more expertise and evaluation.
So, why can’t the food industry just put real fruit into the goddamned jam or jelly like a civilized society; authentic fruit. Why is everything immersed in coagulated condensed corn syrup. That’s the real mystery. Is it all about the money or or they just trying to kill us?

Yes High fructose corn syrup is in everything from salad dressing soda, soy sauce, cocktail sauce, staek sauce, soup, granola bar, cereals, mayo, bread, bagels, etc.
Corn syrup is not the only problem there are foods made with bleached flour, high salt & high fat.
I have chosen not to eat bread. I call it the double whammy because of the bleached flour and the high fructose corn syrup in it. Bleached flour slows down your metabolism and it blocks your body from getting its proper nutritions. And your intestines can't digest it.
After they sweeten you up causing you to become diabetic then they give you high blood pressure with all that salt then give you a heart attack with all that fat eventually in beef.
I started creating my own recipes because there aren't that many healthy option out there. Here are some weight loss tips if anyone is interested.
Tomeka,Yeah--you're right; corn syrup is in all sorts of things. I'm surprised they haven't put it into our water supply yet. I agree with you on the bread thing, too. The processed, bleached bread is terrible. You know, if you took a piece of "wonder" bread and slapped some water onto it, rolled it into a ball--or god forbid that you eat the thing--it literally turns into a blob of material similar to glue. Imagine what that does inside your intestines.
I love a natural light rye from the health food store--I toast it and put--get this--REAL blackberry preserves onto it, drink some kombucha and maybe eat a 1/2 banana..I like your tips and input!

Wow after reading your article I really think they are trying to kill us. You're absolutely right, what's the problem with using real fruit? I always see stuff in the news about how our society is getting lazier and how Americans are so fat blah blah blah. Perhaps if we didn't have all this crap in our foods we would be a little better off. I like Jess's breakfast selection, not only does it sound healthy but it sounds good too. I don't eat too much for breakfast so its a perfect little combo for me.
