Notes: heard this and started to jam... had to add it

When creating my sound, I first found the synthesiser explorations. It sounded like something you would hear on one of those CDs with music to put you to sleep. So I figured I would make a composition that was relaxing and soothing. I next found the bat noise. The description of this sound is "insect eating bats hunting for insects in the dark." I had never heard what a bat sounds like when it hunts so I thought this would be interesting to listen to even if I didn't add it. It actually sounds kinda relaxing, well to me anyways. When combining the synthesiser and the bat I felt they meshed perfectly for the sound I was looking for. If I close my eyes I picturing being in a beautiful green forest with a light fog listening to a bird sing off in the distance.

My third addition was the reggae drum loop, as soon as I heard it I loved it and had to add it. It gives a little jam to my tranquil composition. I can't explain, it just works.

I feel like my sound needs something else! I looked for a good two hours on freesound and couldn't find anything that I thought would fit. So if anyone finds something cool to add feel free to throw it on in there.

I (Chevonne) just wanted to stop by to add a couple images and music samples to Marquel's page.

Despite how calming and melodic the "Bats" sample is, as soon as I learned that this was the sound bats made while hunting, I visualized these images and heard these sounds....EWWWWWWW!

HERE'S WHAT I ALWAYS THOUGHT BATS SOUNDED LIKE WHEN HUNTING:
